CMT Materials has participated in many important thermoforming studies since our founding in 1998. Working in cooperation with industry and academic partners in North America and Europe, we strive for a data-driven approach to a process that has historically been based on craftsmanship and an iterative trial-and-error approach. In this new case study, Kal Plastics of Vernon, CA, approached CMT with a thorny problem that required collaboration and patience, all while striving to meet the needs of a demanding customer.
The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Thermoforming Division has presented Noel Tessier of CMT Materials, Inc. with its lifetime achievement award. The honoree was selected by the Division’s Executive Committee, and the award was presented to Mr. Tessier on September 27, during SPE’s Thermoforming Awards Dinner in Schaumburg, IL.
